The track of actress Shabnam Sayed(Shirin Rashid Ahmed Khan), Vaquar Sheikh (Rashid Ahmed Khan) and Shalini Kapoor Sagar (Dilshad Rashid Ahmed Khan) in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai provided for a mature love story of a man married to two wives and staying with them under one roof. However, the track of Shireen, essayed by Shabnam in the popular 4 Lions Films show has not been seen for a month or so now! And the track of the trio has lost focus all of a sudden, giving way to newer plots. And it also happens to be a fact that Shabnam Sayed has not been shooting for Qubool Hai for a month now.
We wondered why the interesting character of Shireen all of a sudden went missing from the show. Upon finding out, we heard that Shabnam nearly staged a walkout from the show owing to creative differences.
A reliable source tells us that Shabnam had been having a problem with her character’s progress for some time. And when Shireen’s character had to portray a negative shade in the story line, Shabnam had an inhibition doing that. She in fact went on to have quite a lot of arguments with the production house and also with the channel creatives. She started to feel that all the good work that was done on her role was being washed off with the sudden change in shade to Shireen. Though the creative team and even the Producer Gul Khan tried to drive home the fact that the particular track needed Shireen to behave in such a manner, the actress would not agree.
